Took a walk through a forest that I know of that has really tall, relatively slender trees (with a few exceptions, like this one) planted just far enough apart to be able to to take it all in. Usually you walk in a forest and it can be so overgrown. Anyways, this tree here is very large in diameter – probably 3 to 4 feet.

Ok, a bit off track here – this one’s not in Wehr Nature center. I had an opportunity to do a family portrait session a snuck this shot in; of course – not of the family.

Ok, more golden leaves against all the dark rich colors. Still in Wehr Nature center here. These rocks were rare throughout the walk. But when they popped up through the leaves, you could see them perfectly; especially with their bright beacons of moss. I have more shots like this coming, one this Friday and this Sunday.

The foliage on the trees was still quite thick. Thick enough to not let a lot of moisture through when it rained. So, the droplets on the leaves were kind of a rarity. This one’s my favorite that I captured. The drops are very luminescent, don’t you think?

This one is part of a few shots where I was in the woods and the leaves were falling down everywhere around me. The golden leaves against all the dark rich colors was so awesome. Those other shots are coming, one this Wednesday, Friday and next week Sunday.

So this is where I do all my color analysis – in my little lab at the top of the hill. Maybe I’ll show you inside sometime; it’s very interesting
